About The Hunger Games On Stage

The Hunger Games On Stage is at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre in London, bringing Suzanne Collins’ story to the stage for the first time. The production opens in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art venue and follows Katniss Everdeen’s journey in Panem.

The show is created by an award-winning team, with playwright Conor McPherson and director Matthew Dunster. It adapts both the original book and Lionsgate’s motion picture.

At its centre is Katniss Everdeen, whose fight against the odds drives this theatre version of a story about courage, hope and human spirit.

Running time: 2 hours 35 minutes, including a 20-minute interval.

Before you book

This production contains loud noises and explosions, haze and smoke, flashing lights and strobe. It also includes depictions of murder and manslaughter, and references to death, grief and guilt. A good guide is to check whether you and your party are comfortable with the content level of The Hunger Games films. The recommended age is 12+. Under 3s are not permitted, and under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
