About The Hunger Games On Stage

The Hunger Games On Stage at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre is the first-ever theatre adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ internationally acclaimed book and Lionsgate’s motion picture, arriving in London in 2025. The production is created by an award-winning team including playwright Conor McPherson and director Matthew Dunster.

Set in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art venue, the show follows Katniss Everdeen as she defies the odds. It brings the story of courage, hope and human spirit to the stage in a new live production.

The production contains loud noises and explosions, haze and smoke, flashing lights and strobe. It also includes depictions of murder and manslaughter, plus references to death, grief and guilt.

Running time: 2 hours 35 minutes including a 20-minute interval.

Before you book

This production is recommended for ages 12 and over. Under 3s are not permitted. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over, and a good guide is to check whether you and your party are comfortable with the level of content in The Hunger Games films.
