About The Hunger Games On Stage

The Hunger Games On Stage at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre in London is the first-ever theatre adaptation of Suzanne Collins' internationally acclaimed book and Lionsgate's motion picture. The story follows Katniss Everdeen as she defies the odds in Panem, bringing the world of The Hunger Games to the stage for theatre audiences.

Written by Conor McPherson and directed by Matthew Dunster, the production is being presented in a purpose-built venue in London in 2025. It combines the familiar story with a live theatrical setting at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre.

Running time: Act 1: 1 hour 7 minutes; interval: 20 minutes; Act 2: 1 hour 8 minutes.

Before you book

Age guidance: Under 3s are not permitted. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. The recommended guide age is 12+. A good guide is whether you and your party are comfortable with the level of content in The Hunger Games films.

This production contains loud noises and explosions, haze and smoke, flashing lights and strobe. It also includes depictions of murder and manslaughter, and references to death, grief and guilt.
