About The Hunger Games On Stage

The Hunger Games On Stage at Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre brings Suzanne Collins’ story and Lionsgate’s motion picture to the stage in London in 2025. It is the first theatre adaptation of The Hunger Games, created by an award-winning team including playwright Conor McPherson and director Matthew Dunster.

The production follows Katniss Everdeen as she defies the odds in a story centred on courage, hope and resilience. It is staged in a purpose-built, state-of-the-art venue.

Running time: Act 1: 1 hour 07 mins, interval: 20 mins, Act 2: 1 hour 08 mins.

Before you book

This production contains loud noises and explosions, haze and smoke, flashing lights and strobe, along with depictions of murder and manslaughter and references to death, grief and guilt. A good guide is to check whether you and your party are comfortable with the level of content in The Hunger Games films. The recommended age is 12+. Under 3s are not permitted. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over.
