About Disney’s The Lion King
Disney’s The Lion King at the Lyceum Theatre, London, is Disney’s internationally celebrated musical, adapted from the film for the stage by acclaimed director Julie Taymor.
The show follows Simba’s journey from wide-eyed cub to his destined role as King of the Pridelands. It brings the story to life with music, colour and stage effects.
It is a stage production of Disney’s beloved story, presented in one of London’s major theatre venues.
Running time: 2 hours 30 minutes, including one interval. Performance times: Tuesday to Saturday at 7.30pm, with Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2.30pm.
Before you book
Age guidance: recommended for ages 6+. Children under 3, including babies in arms, will not be admitted. All persons aged 16 or under must be accompanied by an adult and may not sit on their own in the auditorium. Every person entering the theatre, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
The venue opens 90 minutes before the start time. Guests should arrive early, as it can get busy and latecomers may have to wait before being seated. You must be seated no later than 5 minutes before the show starts. Arrival times vary by seating area: Grand Circle standing positions 45 minutes before start time; Stalls and Boxes E, K 60 minutes before; Royal Circle and Boxes A, B, F, G 75 minutes before.
After purchase, no refunds or exchanges are available. You will receive a confirmation email. If you choose box office collection, print the confirmation and bring it on the day, at least 30 minutes before the performance starts. If you choose e-tickets, they will be sent by email and can be printed at home. Strobe lighting is used several times during the performance.
