Join an exclusive behind the scenes tour with a specially curated display of historic documents. (Book for October, November, December 2026)

Join us for an exclusive behind the scenes tour of our huge site, featuring over 100km of archival storage, a state of the art conservation studio, and a chance to meet our knowledgeable staff to ask any burning questions on archival practice or London’s history you may have!

Following a tour of our building, ticket holders will be treated to a special display of historic documents from the medieval city, Tudor and Stuart governance and disaster, Victorian crime and health care, and the effects of two World Wars on the capital.

Please note: we run one public "Behind the Scenes" tour each month at The London Archives. This event series covers 7 October, 4 November, 2 December 2026. Spaces are limited.
