Catherine Liu is Professor of Film and Media Studies at UC Irvine. She is the author of Virtue Hoarders: The Case Against the Professional Managerial Class, American Idyll: Academic Antielitism as Cultural Critique and Traumatized: The New Politics of Public Suffering.
