Four writers confess a time they saw themselves in a villain
Welcome to the sixth COY Collective reading, this time with a twist ;)
(Find us in the upstairs room of the pub, readings from 8pm)
Crying Spells is coming to London! Join us for readings from Sihaam, Elle Jones, Sithara Ranasinghe, and Eleanor Lucie, who will each share their interpretation of the same prompt: share a time you identified with the villain.
COY wants to take writing off the internet and into the real world. We aim to bring amateur and up-and-coming writers together, giving them a chance to feel embedded in the literary space. We want to take away some of the pretension of the lit scene to create a friendly, fun event, where work can be shared and connections made without pressure. Bring a friend, or come alone and make some new ones :)
You can subscribe to our newsletter, with roundups from our readings, details of the next event, and inspiration for the month ahead, here, or follow us on Instagram here.
