From Idea to Reality — Your Business Journey Starts Here

Dreaming of ditching the 9-to-5 and doing things your way? You're in the right place.

Join Wenta Business Coach Matt Cheevers at the Business and Technology Centre in Stevenage for this energising, practical workshop designed specifically for anyone who has ever thought about starting their own business — but isn't quite sure where to begin. Whether your idea is fully formed or just a seed of a thought, this session will give you the honest, jargon-free overview you need to decide if self-employment is the right path for you — and exactly what to do next if it is.

What to expect:

Starting a business can feel overwhelming, but it doesn't have to. Matt will walk you through all the key aspects of running your own venture — from the practicalities of getting set up to what life as a business owner really looks like day to day. You'll have plenty of opportunity to ask questions, share your ideas, and get honest answers in a friendly, relaxed environment.

Come for the knowledge. Stay for the community.

One of the best things about this workshop is the people you'll meet. You'll be surrounded by like-minded individuals at the very same stage of their journey — and the connections, conversations, and confidence you'll leave with can be just as valuable as the practical knowledge itself. Delegates regularly leave with fresh ideas, new perspectives, and contacts that turn out to be genuinely useful.

This workshop is perfect for you if:

You're thinking about starting a business but don't know where to start

You want to understand what's really involved before you take the leap

You'd love to talk to others who are considering the same path

You're looking for a first, friendly step into the world of self-employment

Your dream of being your own boss starts with a single step. Make it this one.
