A Few Nagging Questions, Film Screening and Q+A with Director Paul Sapin
A Few Nagging Questions
1968- Cleveland. A deadly shootout.
50 years later, questions still remain.
A shootout between Cleveland Ohio police and Black Nationalists in 1968 - one of the most violent events at the height of the USA civil rights movement – leaves ten people dead, including three police officers. Fifty years later, high school students discover that the battle erupted just two blocks from their school. Uncomfortable truths about the event and its aftermath emerge through their investigations. The film focuses on the young people's stories and how uncovering this chapter of their history inspires them to take their new found knowledge about their once thriving community out of the classroom and into the world to become agents of change.
