Heritage Open Day Adventure 🚌🏛️

Looking for something a little different to do with your Sunday?

Join Out The House MCR for a day of Manchester history, museums and good company as we make the most of Heritage Open Days.

We’ll start at the Museum of Transport, Greater Manchester, where we’ll have time to explore the collection before hopping aboard a heritage bus at 12pm to take us across Manchester.

Our next stop is the Science and Industry Museum, where we’ll grab some lunch together in the museum café before having time to explore.

At 3pm, we’ll join one of the museum’s guided tours to discover more about the people, ideas and innovations that helped shape Manchester.

The plan

📍 10:30am – Meet at the Museum of Transport

🏛️ Explore the museum together

🚌 12:00pm – Catch the heritage bus to the Science and Industry Museum

🥪 Lunch together at the museum café

⚙️ Explore the Science and Industry Museum

🎟️ 3:00pm – Guided museum tour

As always, you’re absolutely welcome to come on your own. Lots of people come to their first Out The House event without knowing anyone, and the whole point is to have somewhere friendly to go, meet new people and make Sundays something to look forward to.

Out The House MCR is a Manchester social group for adults aged 21+. Our events are relaxed, friendly and designed to make it easy to meet people while actually doing something together.
