Bursting with mischief, chaos, romance and magic, this joyful, family-friendly outdoor production reimagines Shakespeare’s hilarious comedy with a bold splash of contemporary flair. Escape into the enchanted forest alongside Hermia, Lysander, Helena and Demetrius as they get more than they bargained for, when a vibrant cast of magical woodland fairies take matters into their own hands.

With ELSF’s signature high-energy numbers, slapstick comedy, and audience participation, this is Shakespeare for everyone! Alongside a community engagement programme with lots of opportunities to get involved.

For younger members of the audience (3+), you can also take part in a pre-show ‘flower-fairy’ headband making workshops run by cast members. This is at a small additional charge to show tickets so please add a separate workshop ticket when booking.

Be sure to bring a brolly (in case of rain or sun) and some cosy, waterproof clothes AND sunscreen.

Tickets are non-refundable

All persons under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.

A fully licensed bar and food is available (NO alcohol and NO food is to be brought into this venue, bag searches are in operation).

Fully accessible toilet facilities are available.

All seating areas have step-free access.

There is no car parking at the venue, please use public transport, bicycles, or arrive on foot. There is very limited local car parking and charges may apply.
