“ The Young Lives Foundation is a Kent based charity that supports all young people to live in communities where they are heard, are safe and supported; with opportunities to thrive. Our Futures Team work with care leavers to provide a range of programmes to support young people as they transition to independent living after leaving care. We are delighted to be collaborating with the Youth Employment Skills Hub in Thanet. YLF will be at the Hub every Monday 10am –1pm to provide a space for care leavers to meet together, share food, engage in workshops and gain support. We hope to work alongside other agencies at the Hub to provide additional support around employability, but we also aim to offer a safe space for care leavers to connect.
