Let's Walk - Milton Keynes
10:00am Thursday 24th September 2026 Duration: 2 hours, WIth a stop for coffee half way.
Start point and end: Meet at Stony Stratford Nature reserve off Queen Eleanor St

The walk, run by Canal & River Trust, will be led by volunteer walk leaders who are full of interesting information about the local area.
Please join us for a fun leisurely walk along the canal. You'll learn a lot and meet new people!
The walk will start at the Stony Stratford Nature reserve off Queen Eleanor St and is about 4 miles long, taking in the Bucks Arm, the GU and river Ouse. There is an opportunity to stop for coffee at a cafe in Cosgrove. The towpath on the Bucks arm can be uneven and the path across the fields may be muddy. Long trousers advisable. We will be crossing the lock at Cosgrove (has handrail), walking over Iron Trunk aqueduct, and through the creeper tunnel.
This is an easy pace walk.

Please book one time slot per person. Please arrive no more than 15 minutes before your booked slot. These sessions are designed for adults and for children from seven years old upwards as an introduction to walking and are easy grade along our amazing towpaths. Learn a bit of history or see some awesome wildlife which is around every turn on our waterways .
Parents and Guardians are required to accompany their children on this walk.
If you can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket via Eventbrite or please get in touch with us to allow another person(s) a chance to take part. Social distancing measures will be in place and all equipment will be cleaned in between sessions.
