Real Answers for Menopause: A Whole Body, Evidence Led Evening
A warm, evidence based evening with TOP Physiotherapy's specialist team
Menopause comes with more opinions than answers. Everyone has a theory, whether it's what to eat, whether HRT is safe, or why your joints suddenly ache, but very little of it is grounded in real evidence, and it's easy to come away more confused than when you started.
This evening is different. We're bringing together four specialists under one roof, a Registered Nutritionist & Pharmacist, a Women's Health Specialist Nurse, a Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, and an MSK Persistent Pain Specialist, to give you a genuinely whole body understanding of what's happening during perimenopause and menopause, and what actually helps for the long term.
Expect honest conversations about the things that don't always get talked about: the truth about HRT and how to make an informed choice, what nutrition can and can't do, why pelvic floor and bladder changes deserve more than a knowing laugh, and how to protect your joints, strength and mobility for decades to come. No fads, no fear mongering, just clear, clinically grounded guidance from people who see this every day, delivered in a relaxed, community feel setting where questions are welcome throughout.
Whether you're navigating perimenopause yourself, supporting someone who is, or simply want to be prepared for what's ahead, you'll leave with a clearer picture and a plan you can actually act on.
The Speakers:
Thomas Pearson — MSK Persistent Pain Specialist & Founder, TOP Physiotherapy Health & Wellness
Thomas founded TOP Physiotherapy six years ago and has grown it from a single treatment room into three thriving clinics in Olney, Northampton and Milton Keynes. As an MSK Persistent Pain Specialist, he works with women navigating the joint pain, stiffness and musculoskeletal changes that often accompany perimenopause and menopause, helping them build strength and stay active for the long term, not just manage symptoms in the short term.
Caroline Wheeler — Women's Health Specialist Nurse
Caroline specialises in women's health and hormone care, including HRT. She helps women cut through the conflicting headlines and social media advice to understand their real options, weigh up the evidence, and make informed choices about managing their menopause with confidence.
Charlotte Lucas — Registered Nutritionist & Pharmacist
Charlotte brings a rare combination of nutrition and pharmacy expertise. She'll be separating fact from fad when it comes to menopause and diet, covering what's actually backed by evidence when it comes to nutrition, metabolism and long term health, and what's simply noise.
Charlotte Quarrie — Pelvic Health Physiotherapist
Charlotte specialises in pelvic health, supporting women through the bladder, pelvic floor and core changes that menopause brings but which are rarely talked about openly. She'll offer practical, evidence based strategies to help attendees feel more in control of their bodies again.
