Tom Talks: Understanding Men, Emotions & Online Influences

Join us in person to explore men, emotions, and the impact of online influences.

This session will explore some of the challenges young men and men face today, including the pressures around masculinity, relationships, and mental health. We’ll look at how social media and online influencers, including content often described as the “manosphere,” can shape the way people think about being a man and relating to others.

We’ll also talk about understanding emotions, navigating difficult experiences such as grief and loss, and why opening up or asking for support can help. The session will consider positive ways to manage emotions, build healthy relationships and be yourself.

The aim is to create an open, honest and judgement-free space to talk, listen and reflect. You’re welcome to share your views, ask questions or simply listen. No one will be expected to speak.

Lunch will be provided.
