Join us this Culture Night for a journey tracing the roots of dance music & club culture.

Four local selectors, each with a unique short set, featuring a 3-minute introduction tracking a major musical evolution:

1. The Dub Revolution

Discover how 1970s Jamaican sound system culture invented the "remix"with dub laden b-sides.

2. Disco Origins to the Masterpiece

The dancefloor shift from the massive live orchestras of the mid-70s to the reveal of a fully synthetic 1977 masterpiece that changed music forever.

3. Post-Punk to Synth-Pop (1979–1982)

The flashpoint where youth subcultures traded guitars for drum machines and synthesizers.

4. The History of House

Mapping the mid-1980s Chicago warehouse culture that took electronic energy and built the blueprint for modern clubbing today.
