'Return to Centre' is a workshop taking place at McAuley Place | Luisne Centre on 14 November 2026. This workshop, priced at €65.33, invites participants to explore the relationship between digestion, the nervous system, and their inner world.
An invitation to slow down, reconnect with your body and explore the relationship between digestion, the nervous system and our inner world.
Return to Centre
Have you been struggling with your digestion and wondering what else you could explore? What if there were more to digestive wellbeing than what we eat?
Join Sofia Perez and Debora Bazzani for a restorative, hands-on workshop bringing together the science of the gut-brain connection, the sensory world of medicinal plants and relaxation with Reiki. This experience offers an opportunity to learn, explore different approaches to wellbeing, and take a little time for yourself.
What the afternoon holds
> Discover
Understand the relationship between digestion, the gut-brain connection and the nervous system, and learn about the different factors that can influence our experience of wellbeing.
> Reconnect
Slow down and explore ways to become more aware of your body's signals, develop your intuition and recognise what you may need.
> Explore
Meet selected medicinal plants, discover their traditional uses and learn how they can be incorporated into everyday herbal practice.
> Rest
Settle into a relaxing Reiki experience, giving yourself time to pause, unwind and enjoy a moment of calm.
> Experience
Engage your senses through the aromas, flavours and textures of herbal medicine. To complete the afternoon, enjoy a cup of herbal tea in a welcoming space overlooking Luisne Garden, a woodland sensory garden with a river running alongside it.
More than a workshop, a shared experience
This workshop is for you if you:
Would like to discover a broader, holistic approach to wellbeing.
Have been struggling with your digestion or simply want to learn more about digestive health.
Want to learn more about medicinal plants and their traditional uses.
Enjoy discovering through experience, rather than learning through information alone.
Are curious about Reiki and would like to experience it for yourself.
Would love an afternoon to slow down and prioritise yourself.
No previous knowledge of the digestive system, herbal medicine or Reiki is needed.
