The Autumn Crafts Workshop (Wreath Making) will be held on 29 October 2026 at 1st Burnmoor Scouts, where attendees can create an autumnal wreath and other seasonal decorations. The workshop costs £25.00.
Create an Autumnal wreath with other seasonal decorations. Ideal for craft beginners and veterans alike. 3 time slots to choose from.
Do you prefer Autumn vibes rather than the Halloween décor? Us too! We are super excited for ‘Cosy Season’ and offering an alternative to the ghosts & ghouls this October. We are bringing a variety of inclusive wellbeing and creativity sessions to Burnmoor the week the clocks fall back, to help brighten your start to the darker season.
Join us for an afternoon of crafting cute, seasonal decorations for you to enjoy or gift to a loved one. No pressure, no experience, no commitment. Just a one-off opportunity to craft whilst enjoying the company of others in a relaxed, friendly session ideal for beginners and veteran crafters alike.
There are 3 time slots to select from. In your first session, you’ll create an Autumnal wreath to hang or use as a table centre piece. We will supply you with a selection of miniature craft pumpkins, leaves, toadstools and apples to add to your wicker wreath base. You might like to bring along some natural items to add to your design such as twigs or pinecones. But we supply everything you need to take part in our workshops as part of the ticket.
If you wish, you can choose to book a second session, either later the same day, or on Sunday 1st November as part of our Glimmers of Light event. In this session you will learn the ancient art of macrame using simple knotting to create autumnal textile decorations. Start off by learning how to make a macrame leaf and useful key chain. Then when you’re ready, develop your knotting techniques to create a dried flower vase ready for a seasonal display.
If attending a second session on this day, use the code 2FOR35 at checkout to receive a £10 discount and get the second session for just £15.
At all our sessions, everything is an invitation. There’s no pressure, no previous experience needed, and you don’t even have to believe you can ‘craft’ to give it a go. Our inclusive activities are all especially designed for those who can find it a bit harder than most to take part without support. Throughout each session you’ll be offered accessible ways to adapt, pause or step away from anything that doesn’t feel comfortable for you. And our experienced team will be there every step of the way. Whether you attend as an individual or with a loved one, you’ll quickly find friendship and connection in our small, supportive group.
