MEXICAN COOKERY Everyone loves Mexican cuisine but have you ever wanted to create this vibrant cuisine in the comfort of your own kitchen? Whether it’s enchilada, quesadillas or empanadas, there really is a dish for everyone! Like many other cuisines, the best traditional Mexican food will always be found in the home. Here’s your chance to do the same and learn a wide range of Mexican staples! Each student will have their own work station, equipment and ingredients to work with. EXPECT RECIPES LIKE: + Mexican Tortillas: Corn Tortillas, Flour Tortillas + Traditional Salsas: Pico de Gallo Salsa, Guacamole, Xnipec Salsa, Mexican Crema + Street Salads: Esquites Corn Salad, Country Beans, Nopales Cactus Salad + Mexican Home Cooking: Tinga Chilli, Tacos al Pastor, Steak/Vegetable Adobada, Pit-Roasted Pork/Hearts of Palm + Mexican Sweets: Alfajores, Dulce de Leche Caramel, Lime Carlota, Churros Exact recipes for this class will vary by season. WHERE: Blackfriars Cookery School TIMES: 9.30am to 4.30pm COST: £175 per person which includes refreshments throughout the day, a communal lunch with wine, regional beverage and coffee in the Cookery School, your own apron and recipes to take home.
