Business Glimmers is built on the idea that there’s real strength in women backing women, celebrating wins, and helping each other rise.

Business Glimmers is a fresh take on networking for women, built around sharing wins, making meaningful connections and women backing women.

We don’t celebrate ourselves enough. We move on too quickly, play things down and forget to stop and recognise what we’ve actually done. Business Glimmers gives women the space to do exactly that.

It’s a morning that feels more like a celebration than a networking event. There are no 60-second pitches to rehearse. Instead, we share wins, make introductions, swap ideas and help each other out.

Each Business Glimmers will have its own feel, shaped by the women in the room and the place we’re in. We’ll be working with female-driven and brilliant local independent venues, with each event bringing something different, from speakers and conversations to activities, workshops and unexpected little extras.

Our launch takes place at Fenwick Newcastle.

The morning

Arrival. Head to the 1st floor Show Up Club stand, next to bags.

9.45–10.00

Welcome and breakfast (zero) mimosas at Mother Mercy, the location for our meet.

10-10.30 - Women sharing wins

Instead of pitching your business, share one thing worth celebrating from it. A new client, a big yes, a breakthrough or something finally moving.

We’ll hear the wins around the room and celebrate them together.
