Whether you’re a complete beginner or a seasoned performer, this workshop will help you express yourself and find your inner ‘elf’. No pressure, no rehearsal, no commitment, no performance. Just a one-off opportunity to improvise, explore and unmask. Expect fun, friendship and lots of laughter!

Led by our experienced double act – Rebecca & Sinead, this session offers a unique chance to express yourself in new ways, discover different sides to yourself and find that cheeky, magical, authenticate ‘elf’ that hides within all of us. With decades of experience working in community arts, the pair are true drama queens who absolutely love helping others shine! Following their late diagnosis of Autism and ADHD, the duo wanted to create a space to help others in their community to express their true selves, build confidence, share stories and explore their unique journeys with other like-minded individuals.

Having worked together for many years leading choirs, Sinead & Rebecca are taking a break from singing together, instead offering a fresh new take on theatre arts, specifically designed to welcome their Neurodivergent Community. Between them, the dynamic duo hold vast lived experience of all colours of the Neurodivergent spectrum, along with many years of living with long term physical & mental health conditions and disability. We welcome adults with or without diagnosis, their allies and those who are just curious.

It’s definitely not about polished performance, instead a whimsical opportunity to explore the different parts of yourself in a safe and supportive ‘unmasked’ environment. There’ll be drama games, improvisation, sketches, creative writing and the freedom to see where the process leads through ideas and inspiration from the group. There’s no pressure, you can go at your own pace and no expectation to attend regularly. Just a one-off session to freely enjoy.

This inclusive workshop is open to adults aged 18+. Whilst not exclusive, this session is specifically designed with the Neurodivergent Community in mind. We welcome:

· Adults with or without a diagnosis, and those who are just curious.

· Partners, parents, friends, colleagues, carers and allies of ND people

· Those able to attend independently in a safe and appropriate way

· Those comfortable in a female-led spaces

· Those able to mix in a group setting with a high levels of interaction and teamwork

· Those able to enter with kindness, courage, curiosity and acceptance

At all our sessions, everything is an invitation. There’s no pressure, no previous experience needed, and you don’t even have to believe you can ‘act’ to give it a go. Our inclusive activities are all especially designed for those who can find it a bit harder than most to take part without support. Throughout each session you’ll be offered accessible ways to adapt, pause or step away from anything that doesn’t feel comfortable for you. And our experienced team will be there every step of the way. Whether you attend as an individual or with a loved one, you’ll quickly find friendship and connection in our small, supportive group.
