About This Event

On November 25th, at Newcastle Cathedral in Newcastle, a group of enthusiastic children participated in "ChoriStarters," a series of free singing sessions aimed at Year 1 and Year 2 students. Led by professional musicians, these weekly events offer an enriching experience that combines education with enjoyment, allowing young voices to flourish in a sacred setting.

Does your child in Year 1 or Year 2 love to sing? Give them the chance to take part in fun, FREE musical sessions designed just for young voices! These weekly sessions are led by professional musicians and experienced music educators. Children will explore music through singing, learn simple music-reading skills, and begin developing healthy singing technique. Along the way, they’ll make new friends and enjoy the many benefits of singing, including improved confidence, wellbeing and creativity. To register their interest, please email music@newcastlecathedral.org.uk. Registration is required so we can share all the session details with you, including where each session will take place within the building. We look forward to welcoming your young singers and making music together!
