If you enjoy discovering the parts of Newcastle that usually go unnoticed, this event is for you. We are putting together a casual urban treasure hunt designed to take us off the main streets and into the interesting corners and tucked-away spots that make this city unique. We will be spending the afternoon wandering through the local area, solving a few light clues, and searching for caches hidden in plain sight. This is a relaxed meetup, so there is no pressure to be an expert. Whether you are a regular geocacher or just someone who enjoys a good walk with a bit of a challenge, you will fit right in. We will meet at the starting point to go over the route, share some stories, and then head out to see what we can find. It is a great way to meet fellow explorers and appreciate the city from a different perspective. If you are planning on joining us, please let us know by clicking the RSVP button so we have a rough idea of numbers before we head out.
