Join NHSN Naturalists for a guided walk around Gosforth Nature Reserve!

Explore and enjoy nature at Gosforth Nature Reserve, a peaceful wildlife haven just minutes from the city centre in Newcastle upon Tyne. Home to a rich mix of habitats including ponds, woodland and meadow, supporting species such as otters, kingfishers and a wide range of dragonflies and wildflowers.

We'll see what there is to find at the reserve as well as learning more about the rich history there is on offer.

Event length: 1 session, Sunday 30 August, 11.00 am-12.30 pm (approx)

Event cost: Free to all

Event Structure: Informal Walk

Level: Beginner

Additional Notes:

Please bring water and suitable walking shoes/wellies, binoculars if you have them (we can provide some if not)

Photography will be taking place, please let the event lead know if you do not wish to be in any photos.

Accessibility

Toilet facilities are not available. Please wear sturdy footwear as some of the paths can be uneven in places.
