On 25 September 2026, the East End Youth & Community Centre in Newcastle hosts a recorded workshop led by Amy on paper embroidery card-making. This session is exclusively available to attendees over the age of sixty-five and will be managed by the Community Foundation. The event takes place from 09:00 onwards at this community venue.
Join Amy to learn how to embroider onto paper to create cards. This workshop will be recorded by the Community Foundation over 65's only
Join Amy for a fun and relaxed craft workshop to create paper emroidered cards. Amy will show you all steps to create your card, from initial design to completed card. You will be using a needle and thread, Amy will be on hand to help with needle threading! This workshop is for over 65's only, if you need someone to come along to support you who is under 65 please let me know.
This workshop will be attended by The Community Fund who will be taking photographs and videos as well as talking to attendees.
Funded by The Mayors Community Fund. All materials and refreshements provided. Spaces must be booked ahead of time, please cancel if you are no longer able to attend so your space can be reallocated.
