Get creative with our Tales on the Tyne Paint Your Own Peter Rabbit Birdhouse Workshop

Have you been inspired by the artists' creativity in bringing the beautiful Peter Rabbit sculptures to life across Newcastle and North Tyneside? Why not try your hand at designing your very own Peter Rabbit-themed bird house?

Join us for a fun Paint Your Own workshop, where you'll be able to decorate a wooden bird house inspired by Beatrix Potter's much-loved storybook.

All paints, brushes and art materials are provided, so all you need to bring is your imagination!

Located in the same venue as Trail HQ (the space by St Oswald's Hospice), you'll also have the opportunity to:

Meet both little and large trail sculptures

Enjoy refreshments from our pop-up cafe

Each workshop is £15 per person*. The money raised helps St Oswald's Hospice care for local people and their families too.

Spaces are limited, so we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.

Please note: Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. Parents and guardians who do not wish to paint their own rabbit do not need to purchase a ticket and only need to book for the children taking part.

Venue: the space by St Oswald's Hospice, Ouse Street, Ouseburn, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE1 2AG

Parking is available on site, but spaces are limited. Additional parking can be found nearby at The Cycle Hub. Alternatively, the venue is approximately a 10 to 15 minute walk from both Byker and Manors Metro stations.
