Join us for a chill afternoon exploring the hidden gems and fresh air of East Allen Valley on foot.
A walk in the East Allen Valley
Join a guided walk showcasing the scenery of the East Allen Valley. We’ll meet at Isaac's Well in the centre of Allendale and follow Isaac’s Tea Trail beside the river before climbing out of the valley to enjoy wonderful views. The route takes in an arboretum and a stone circle, as well as relics of the area’s lead mining heritage including the remains of a rail branch line where it is alleged the Allendale Wolf was killed. After descending to the riverbank, we will rejoin Isaac’s Tea Trail to return to Allendale. Walk led by Christine Sherwood.

Join us for a chill afternoon exploring the hidden gems and fresh air of East Allen Valley on foot.
A walk in the East Allen Valley
Join a guided walk showcasing the scenery of the East Allen Valley.
