Participants will create clay wind chimes by imprinting foraged leaves, seeds and branches into clay at Ernest Cafe Bar in Shieldfield. The workshop takes place on 21 October 2026 at 18:30 and costs £13.70.
Join us as we get creative with foraged leaves, seeds and branches, imprinting their form into clay creations and making wind chimes.
Spend the evening getting creative together, slowing down and creating with nature and clay.
🌿 There are so many patterns to be found in nature, so let's explore them through clay printing.
As autumn is settling in, let's embrace the elements of air and earth, as we create wind chimes that catch the sound of the wind through unique clay creations.
With our facilitator, Roxana, we’ll learn how to look for pattern in common spaces and natural forms, take notice of textures and imprint them in creative ways to make shapes, forms and trickets to attach to your unique wind catcher.
You are invited to bring any personal finds (from tree branches and drift wood, to textured leaves and seed heads). At the begining, we will have the opportunity to gather few pieces from the nearby woodlands, to integrate into your creations. You'll learn about knots, twists and braids to hang the chimes and foraged or found elements.
P.S you can also make a halloween themed chime, or pick anything else as inspirations, clay can turn into many forms and textures.
The evening will be relaxed and hands-on, with plenty of space for questions, shared knowledge and conversation along the way.
No experience needed. Just come curious, bring your hands and be ready to get involved.
