Join The Sound Tree and unlock your songwriting skills in a practical, creative course!

Join us for a warm, welcoming and creative 12-week journey into songwriting for over 18s. No experience necessary. Each week we'll explore lyric writing, melody, rhythm and personal expression in a small, supportive group setting.

These will be delivered in English and will run from 5:30pm-7pm at The Place, Newport in Wales.

These sessions will run on the following Thursdays between 10th September and 10th December

10, 17, 24 September 2026 -Week 1-3

1 October 2026 - No session - Pre-schduled Time Away.

8, 15, 22, 29 October 2026 -Week 4-7

5 November 2026 - No session (Bonfire Night week)

12, 19th, 26th November 2026 - Week 8-10

3, 10 December 2026 - Week 11-12

Due to the nature of the content that may be discussed, these sessions are for over-18s. However, we aim to create courses for under-18s in the future. Please stay tuned for any announcements in future.

Tickets are refundable up to 30 days before the course begins. After this time, refunds are not available, as places are reserved and planning costs are committed. In exceptional circumstances, we may be able to offer a transfer to a future course or a waiting list replacement.
