An Impact of Neurodivergence on Mental Health session is offered to parents and carers by the Northamptonshire Mental Health Support Team at Kingsthorpe Children’s Centre (Family Hub) in Northampton on August 25th. The event is free of charge.

The Impact of Neurodivergence on Mental Health - for Parents

Date & Time: 25 August 2026, 15:30-17.00

Venue: Kingsthorpe Family Hub

Does your child think, learn or experience the world differently? Are you wondering how neurodiversity may be affecting their emotional wellbeing?

This supportive workshop will help parents and carers understand the links between neurodivergence and mental health. You’ll explore how everyday challenges can impact mood, anxiety and self-esteem, and learn practical ways to support your child’s wellbeing at home.

This in-person event is specially designed for parents and carers from Northamptonshire, offering a safe and understanding space to explore strategies, share experiences and build confidence in supporting your child.
