An inspiring evening at John Lewis Norwich celebrating creativity and self-expression through football, art and live music.

Join us at John Lewis Norwich for An Evening of Expression, a special event bringing together Morley Youth FC U14s, local artist and musician Jake Andrew, and a talented young pianist from Wymondham College.

Throughout the evening, Jake and the Morley U14s will explore how creativity and self-expression can take many different forms, whether through a football, a paintbrush or a piano. Jake will also share his experience of synaesthesia and how it influences the way he experiences music and creates his artwork.

The evening’s centrepiece will see Jake paint live in response to a live piano performance, before inviting some of the Morley players to pick up a brush and create alongside him.

Jake’s artwork will also be on display throughout the evening and available to purchase, with a share of proceeds supporting Morley Youth FC and grassroots football in the local community.

Come along for an uplifting evening celebrating confidence, creativity, community and finding your own way to express yourself.

About Morley U14s

Morley U14s bring together young players from Wymondham, Attleborough and surrounding villages. Their approach follows The Morley Way, encouraging brave, expressive football and giving young people the confidence to make decisions and find their own voice on the pitch.

About Jake Andrew

Local artist and musician Jake Andrew is the creative thread running through the evening, connecting football, art and music. Jake will talk about his own creative process and synaesthesia before creating an original artwork live in response to music.
