The changing work environment - how do we navigate hybrid working, wellbeing, recruitment and retention and keep happy employees?
Meet Our Expert Panel
The modern workplace is evolving at pace. Employers are navigating new challenges around recruitment and retention, hybrid and flexible working, employee wellbeing, workplace culture and building high-performing teams in an increasingly competitive environment.
Join us for an engaging discussion with a panel of respected leaders and experts who will share practical insights, experiences and ideas to help organisations create workplaces where people and businesses can thrive.
Confirmed panellists include:
Tom Oxley, an internationally recognised mental health consultant who has worked with more than 80 organisations, from major PLCs to local charities. Drawing on over a decade of experience, Tom helps employers build healthier workplace cultures, improve employee wellbeing and equip managers with the skills and confidence needed to support their teams effectively.
Stephen Crocker, Chief Executive and Creative Director of Norwich Theatre Group, one of the UK's leading regional theatre organisations. Stephen has extensive experience leading large and diverse teams, driving organisational change and fostering inclusive workplace cultures that enable people to flourish and perform at their best.
The discussion will be hosted by David Powles, Chief Executive of St Martins Housing Trust. Prior to joining St Martins, David served as Chief Executive of Norfolk Community Law Service, leading the organisation through a period of growth and expanded community impact. Before moving into the charity sector, he spent more than 16 years with the Eastern Daily Press and Norwich Evening News, including six years as Editor-in-Chief, building a reputation as one of Norfolk's most influential community leaders and champions of positive social change.
Together, our panel will explore the realities of leading organisations in today's world, including:
Supporting employee wellbeing and mental health.
Recruiting and retaining talented people.
Navigating hybrid and flexible working.
Building resilient, engaged and high-performing teams.
Creating positive workplace cultures that attract and retain staff.
Developing workplaces where both people and organisations can succeed.
Additional panellists will be announced soon, bringing further expertise and perspectives to what promises to be a practical, thought-provoking and inspiring conversation.
