Join this women-only evening ride to Lady Bay and West B. We'll go at a nice, steady pace to keep us warm and "see the sights" by night!

Meeting at Nottingham Train Station we’ll head out through the Meadows and Wilford using the cycle lanes, before having a gentle pootle around the quiet streets of Lady Bay and West Bridgford. This is an easy-going 6.5 mile flat route for women only, please remember to bring lights with you as we will start and end in the dark, and wrap up warm too - gloves essential!

We welcome women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back!

You’ll be in safe hands, we’re experienced ride leaders who love cycling. Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling.

This ride is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. The session is funded by The National Lottery Reaching Communities Fund.

You won’t need anything fancy, just a bike that rides, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, water, snacks and some enthusiasm for cycling! Let us know if there is anything we can do to help enable you to join this ride.
