An evening of poetry from some of the very best poets that Nottingham has to offer.

Featured Poet: Charlotte Thomas

An Evening of poetry, of all kinds, from a diverse viewpoint. It will make you think, it may make you cry, but it will certainly make you laugh.

Featured Poet

Charlotte Thomas is a teacher, actor, poet and sometime pub quiz host living and working in Nottingham. ‘Figuring myself out…’ marks Charlotte’s first poetry collection, and represents a lot of the writing she has been developing over the last three years. Alongside her day job as a teacher, Charlotte regularly takes on lead roles at the local Lace Market Theatre, and is incredibly active in the local poetry scene. Particular highlights have included performing her poem ‘Lil Crumbz’ at the Nottingham Poetry Festival, and being selected to read her poem Green Heart for Poet Laureate, Simon Armitage.
