About This Event

A heritage talk about Tales from Hungerhills will be held at West Bridgford Library in Nottingham on 27th October 2026, discussing people who have lived or gardened at St Anns allotments for 200 years.

For 200 years people have lived or gardened at St Anns allotments, Nottingham's unique Victorian detached garden site.

Local historian Mo Cooper will talk about their lives, their loves, their passion. There's murder, poverty, hidden goats, the old rifle range and the Windrush generation - Nottingham's life in miniature captured on our Grade 2* listed gardens.
