LC Winter takes us on a toxic journey through poisons, ancient and modern, in fact and fiction. As a professional gardener and a fan of classic crime fiction Libby has always had an interest in poisons and that bore fruit in the shape of her book Spider, Spider, in which poison plays a major role. Come along and learn about everything poisonous from arsenic to aconite!
About LC Winter:
LC Winter is a writer of historical gothic, scribbling at the midnight crossroads between history, folklore and crime. When Libby isn't writing dark and twisty tales she works as a professional gardener. Working in the soil of historic buildings forms a significant part of the compost from which her writing grows, as does a childhood with her head buried in a Sherlock Holmes and surrounded by antiques in various states of repair. From poisonous plants to secret compartments, from witch balls to guttering candles in the dark, it all shows up in her stories.
