Join BACKLIT Artists in our new Learning Centre for talks, workshops and community gatherings. Explore the programme and book your spot!

Inspired by the international phenomenon The Offline Club, this relaxed, phone-free gathering invites participants to step away from their screens and reconnect with themselves, others and the present moment. Bring a book, sketchbook, knitting or any other analogue activity, or simply enjoy doing nothing. The session offers space for quiet creativity, reflection and spontaneous conversation, without the pressure to be productive. Hosted at BACKLIT, this pilot event explores the appetite for a regular Offline Club in Nottingham, fostering community through shared moments of digital disconnection. Led by Andrea Jaeger No experience required. Everyone welcome.

Following the opening of our new Ground Floor and Learning Centre on 6th November, BACKLIT Members are taking over the space with a programme of talks, creative workshops and community gatherings. Join us to explore new ideas, try something different, share experiences and connect with others through art, creativity and conversation.
