Nottingham City Community Champions are invited to join an informative session to learn more about the C-Card Scheme and local sexual health services available in the city.

This friendly and inclusive session will provide an overview of:

What the C-Card Scheme is and who it supports

How local people can access the scheme and how to have these discussions

Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs) and contraception

Healthy relationships and encouraging conversations about health and wellbeing

Discussion on cultural and social barriers that young people face when improving their sexual health

The session aims to increase awareness and confidence when discussing sexual health information in a respectful, culturally sensitive and non-judgemental way. We recognise that views and experiences relating to sexual health can vary across different communities, cultures and faiths, and the session will be delivered in an inclusive and supportive environment.

Who should attend?

This session is open to all Nottingham City Community Champions who would like to understand more about the C-Card Scheme and local sexual health support services.

No prior knowledge is required.
