Racket & Connect - Pickleball

Looking for a fun way to get active and meet new people? Come along to our Pickleball Taster Session and discover one of the fastest-growing sports in the UK!

Pickleball combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, making it easy to learn and enjoyable for all ages and abilities. It's played on a smaller court with a paddle and lightweight ball, making it less physically demanding than some racket sports while still providing a great workout.

Qualified coach, Emma Owen from the Pickleball Collective (https://thepickleballcollective.co.uk/) will be leading the session, guiding you through the rules, basic techniques, and gameplay.

Whether you've never picked up a paddle before or you're looking to improve your skills, this session is suitable for beginners and experienced players alike.

Exclusively for Rushcliffe 18 + residents registered with a Rushcliffe GP.

Only one booking is permitted per person. Additional bookings may be cancelled to ensure fairness.

There is a small donation-based contribution to secure your place, which helps cover the cost of running the session on a per-person basis. No profit is made from these sessions, and the contribution helps keep them running and accessible through social prescribing at a reduced rate.

We want our sessions to be accessible to everyone. If cost is a barrier, please get in touch - we’re happy to support you to attend.
