Calling all East Midlands scriptwriters and actors!

Find your community at The Script Social: a bi-monthly meet-up for writers and actors, taking place every other month, in-person, in Nottingham, or online via zoom .

Thursday 29th October, 6-9pm, at Broadway Cinema, Nottingham

Thursday 10th December, 6-9pm, at Broadway Cinema, Nottingham

How does it work?

A writer submits their script.

The roles are cast.

During the session it is performed by actors.

Assembled actors & writers give feedback to help the writer with their next draft.

Each session ends with social time for writers and actors to mix, chat and potentially forge new connections that could spark a fruitful collaboration.

For writers it is a chance to:

Hear your entire script out loud, performed script-in-hand by actors

Connect with local actors to develop future collaboration possibilities

Grow your confidence and craft in scriptwriting for theatre, film, TV and more

Receive feedback on your script & develop your own feedback skills

Every 2026 session is live and bookable now. You can book as many as you want.

Let us know if you have to cancel as there are limited spaces.

For actors and writers to attend, our Script Social is FREE.
