Join us as we explore animals and the places they callhome. Children can create their own animal home or habitat out of matchboxes,using twigs, acorns, fabric, feathers and more. The workshop accompanies twodialogue-free animated short films featuring some curious and unusualcreatures, and invites children to think about an interesting question: is homea place, or is it where your family is?

Enjoy Shoom’s Odyssey a French featurette about overcomingthe odds, kindness and finding your family. And Capybaras, a family ofCapybaras hiding from local hunters, find unexpected refuge in a nearby chickencoop. Based on his award-winning picture book, director AlfredoSodeguit, has created a striking story of how accepting others enriches usall.
