Led by experienced walk leader, Nick Burton - to be filmed for the documentary film as part of our legacy project. WWW.WDTW65.COM

As part of our 65th anniversary legacy project, experienced walk leader, Nick Burton, is running a special ‘Whistle Down the Wind’ locations walk around the Downham village with cast members and a full film crew, capturing documentary footage.

Expect to be entertained with many wonderful memories as we go, followed by a lovely get-together at the village hall, where you will be able to enjoy tea and biscuits and put your questions to the cast members and maybe grab a quick selfie! Pam (disciple) will also be showing some lovely artefacts from the film production.

The cost is a minimum donation fee of £15 which goes entirely to our project Crowdfunder, with the option of upgrading to include a signed replica poster – from Alan and Diane (Charles and Nan).

We already have tremendous interest in the event and are therefore initially prioritising places to those who could not make the last one.

Please note: this event is being filmed for our documentary film, so there is a fair chance you will be caught on camera and may be included in the final edit of the documentary.

TIME:

The walk is expected to begin at 12 noon, however, you can assemble from 11.30 at Downham Village Hall, where there is parking available. Nick will take us to the first location from here. We will then re-assemble back at the hall, with a probable pitstop at the icecream shop (weather dependant!) en route. The event will likely be finished by around 5pm.

Please check back closer to the time for any logistical updates, as this event being a few months away, details may be subject to slight change.
