Help create a mural celebrating how Oxford’s people, places & stories connect, & our future civic space on George Street

Join artist Saroj Patel in creating a mural that will celebrate the roots of community in Oxford and what being a part of it means. Come down and add your own mark to an artwork that will sit outside Makespace Oxfordshire's civic space on George Street.

The mural will be painted on panels in our 9 Park End Street hub before being placed in situ on George Street/Gloucester Green.

Drop in 13th Nov, 9am-4:30pm & 14th Nov, 9am-5:30pm. The time slots are to help control the flow of people, but you don't have to stay for your full slot or leave at the end of it.

Accessibility info: The sessions will be held on the 1st floor, which can be accessed by stairs or a lift. The is an old-style lift, which may be too small for some large power chairs, so please contact us if you require more info. There is a step-free toilet on the 1st floor. There is no wheelchair accessible bathroom onsite, but there is one we can show you to 2 minutes down the road at 21 Park End Street.
