Malcolm Guite: a great poet of our time

We are delighted to welcome the Revd Dr Malcolm Guite to Oxford for this unique event, part of Holy Trinity Church's Imagine Lewis weekend.

Malcolm is an internationally acclaimed poet and author, whose 'Galahad and the Grail', the first volume of his Arthurian epic, was published to rapturous reviews.

Malcolm will bring us a fascinating talk on one of his major inspirations: C.S. Lewis, and in particular, that author's engagement with Arthurian tradition in his writings and thought.

Malcolm will also treat us to a reading from the second volume of his Arthuriad, 'The Coming of Arthur', published this year.

Holy Trinity, Headington Quarry was the church of C.S. Lewis for over 30 years, and he is buried in the churchyard. Imagine Lewis is a celebration of the arts and spirituality inspired by his legacy.
