Our next Oxford Spark and Solder Social Night is coming up, and I would love to see some familiar faces and meet a few new ones. This is a casual, unstructured evening for anyone in the community who enjoys making jewelry, whether you are a seasoned metalsmith or just starting to experiment with wire and pliers. We are getting together to share our current projects, talk through any technical hurdles we are facing, and simply enjoy the company of other local makers. There is no formal agenda, so please feel free to bring along a piece you are working on, a tool you are curious about, or just yourself if you want to chat about the craft. It is a relaxed space to bounce ideas around and connect with people who share your interests. If you have been looking for an excuse to get back to the workbench or want to connect with other local jewelers, this is the perfect time to join us. Please RSVP when you have a moment so I can get a sense of how many people to expect.
