Bring your craft, enjoy a drink and meet fellow makers! A relaxed, friendly evening of creativity and connection. All abilities welcome!

🌼 Whittlesey Craft & Chat – The Quiet Make Club

Bring your craft. Find your people. 💚

Fancy a relaxed evening of crafting, chatting and meeting new people?

Join The Quiet Make Club for our very first Whittlesey Craft & Chat evening at The Buttercross!

Whether you’re an experienced crafter, a complete beginner or simply looking to meet like-minded people, we’d love you to come along.

🧶 What can I bring?

Bring along your own craft project and materials. Some ideas include:

🧵 Crochet, knitting or embroidery🌸 Cross-stitch or hand sewing🎨 Sketching, drawing or colouring🪡 Macramé or other portable crafts

All we ask is that you bring something relatively tidy. No paints, glue or messy materials, please!

☕ What can I expect?

Think of it as a cosy evening spent crafting in good company.

There’s no formal teaching, no organised activities and absolutely no pressure to create something amazing!

Come on your own or bring a friend. You’ll receive a friendly welcome either way.

And if you’re someone who enjoys crafting quietly while listening to the conversation, that’s absolutely fine too. 💚

📍 When and where?

The Buttercross, Whittlesey📅 Wednesday 28th October 2026🕖 7pm–9pm

☕ How much does it cost?

The evening is completely free to attend!

The lovely team at The Buttercross have very kindly offered us their space at no cost, helping us bring our little crafting community together. 💚

All we ask is that everyone purchases at least one drink during the evening to support the venue and thank them for their generosity.

There’s no obligation to purchase food or anything else.

🎟️ Do I need to book?

Yes, please!

We’ve already had more interest than expected, so we’re introducing free bookings to make sure everyone has enough space to craft comfortably.

Spaces are limited, and everyone attending will need their own free ticket.

🌼 A little about The Quiet Make Club

The Quiet Make Club is a friendly, inclusive creative community that celebrates crafting, connection and taking time for yourself.

We believe making things should be enjoyable, not another thing to get perfect.

You don’t need to be particularly artistic, experienced or confident to belong here.

Sometimes it’s simply nice to sit alongside other people, enjoy a little creativity and feel part of something.

💚 A few things to know:

🌼 This is an adults-only gathering (18+).

🌼 Please bring your own craft materials.

🌼 No experience or special skills are needed.

🌼 You’re very welcome to attend alone.

🌼 Everyone is required to purchase at least one drink to support our lovely hosts.

🌼 If you book but can no longer attend, please cancel your ticket so someone else can have your place.

We can’t wait to welcome you to our very first Craft & Chat evening!

🌼 Wonky bits always welcome! 💚
