Back to Your Body – Calm Your Nervous System & Reconnect With Yourself
Join us for an in-person somatic (working with the body) workshop designed to help you step out of overthinking and reconnect with your body.
Through gentle guided body practices, breathwork, Qigong, and a restorative sound bath, you’ll learn how to notice the body’s signals, release built-up stress, and create a greater sense of safety, calm, and emotional balance.
If you often feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in your head, this workshop offers practical tools to help you slow down, feel more grounded, and begin listening to what your body has been trying to tell you.
Imagine waking up without your nervous system already on high alert.
Many of us spend our lives stuck in survival mode - overthinking, people-pleasing, feeling anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, or disconnected from ourselves.
We understand why we feel this way, yet nothing seems to change.
That's because regulation isn't something we think our way into.
It's something we experience through the body.
This immersive workshop will introduce you to practical, evidence-informed somatic practices that help your nervous system feel safer, calmer, and more resilient.
Whether you're navigating stress, burnout, anxiety, past trauma, or simply want to feel more connected to yourself, you'll leave with practical tools you can use long after the workshop ends.
What you'll experience
Throughout the afternoon, you'll be gently guided through a series of practices designed to help your body move from survival into safety.
You'll experience:
Understanding how stress and trauma affect the nervous system
Regulation starts with creating safety rather than pushing harder
Gentle somatic practices to reconnect with your body
Breathwork to regulate your nervous system
Qigong to release tension and restore balance
A deeply relaxing sound bath to integrate the experience
Everything is taught at a pace that honours your nervous system. There is no pressure to share personal experiences or revisit difficult memories.
Is this for you?
This workshop may be particularly helpful if you:
Feel constantly stressed or anxious
Live in your head and struggle to switch off
Feel emotionally overwhelmed or shut down
Are you recovering from burnout or chronic stress
Have done lots of mindset work, but still feel stuck
Want practical tools rather than more information
No previous experience is needed.
You'll leave with
A better understanding of your nervous system
Practical techniques to calm yourself when stress takes over
Greater connection with your body
Increased emotional capacity
More confidence in responding to difficult emotions
A sense of calm, clarity, and groundedness
