About This Event

A beginners' festive calligraphy workshop is scheduled to take place at Cotehele in Plymouth on 4 November 2026. The event is free to attend. The workshop is a beginner-friendly session where participants can learn basic calligraphy shapes.

Spend a couple of creative hours in this beginner-friendly calligraphy workshop.

Begin to master creating basic shapes with your calligraphy pen whilst working towards mastering the modern calligraphy alphabet.

By the end of the workshop you will be creating calligraphy pieces of your own to take home and impress your friends. You will have also finished your own festive piece of calligraphy art, the perfect Christmas gift for someone special.

Your workshop ticket includes your very own calligraphy kit which includes pen, nibs and ink bottle to take home.
