Join Ukrainian Singers Plymouth for a special concert marking Ukrainian Independence Day.
The evening will premiere a brand-new programme of songs inspired by the poetry of Taras Shevchenko, one of Ukraine’s most important poets and cultural figures. English translations of the poems will be shown visually during the performance, allowing audiences to follow the meaning and imagery behind the music.
The programme will also include Ukrainian folk and traditional songs, bringing together poetry, history and the living musical heritage of Ukraine.
